About the location
Woodland View enjoys excellent communications, with Junction 28 of the M4 motorway being only 7 miles to the south east; this provides easy access to the cities of Newport and Cardiff.
Through both cities there are rail links to all major UK destinations, with London having an approximate journey time of 2 hours. There is a frequent bus service operating near the foot of the site, and the international airports of Cardiff and Bristol are both within an hours drive.
The Celtic Manor Resort is located just off junction 24 of the M4, offering hotel and leisure facilities, and is host to the forthcoming 2010 Ryder Cup.
The Sir Howey Valley is outstanding, with the Cwmcarn Forest Drive being a short distance away, offering breath taking views of the panoramic landscape. There is a beautiful forest walk starting from the foot of the site working its way up the hills that span far back into the surrounding countryside.
